Mr. Haldeman has been a practicing Physican Assistant in a variety of family practice and internal medicine practices over 31 years. After getting a Bachelor of Science degree from Grove City College in 1970, he served in the Peace Corps in Malaysia. Upon return, he received a Masters degree in Counselor Education from the University of Pittsburgh and went on to become a Middle School guidance counselor in Connecticut. He then went to Yale University to study to become a Physician Assistant.
Mr. Haldeman is married and has 2 children. Both are teachers and have remained active in their church community (especially Stephen Ministry and taking a volunteer crew each year to work for Habitat for Humanity.) Additionally, he is an active member of the Town of Shawangunk Environmental Council.
When Mr. Haldeman has free time, he enjoys’ gardening, hiking, farming with his brother and several local farmers, and other outdoor activities.
