Mr. Markumas, RPA-C grew up in nearby Putnam County, New York. He attended Westchester Community College where he received a degree in Radiologic Technology. He then furthered his studies at Mercy College and majored in Biology, graduating Cum Laude with honors. His Physician Assistant studies were completed at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is Physician Assistant certified by the NCCPA.
After graduating, he worked in a private practice in North Central Pennsylvania for a few years. He then joined the staff at Kaiser Permanente where he worked until its closure in 1999. He has been employed at New Century Medical Associates since its start.
Mr. Markumas’ interests in medicine include: primary care as well as urgent care. His hobbies include fly fishing, photography and exploring the National Parks.
